Fantastic place! Awesome food (I had the crusted Halibut), very clean, great atmosphere, and the staff was so nice and welcoming! Can’t wait to go back!

Best seafood in North Carolina period.. Always cooked to order.. they serve a variety of different food.. it’s not limited to seafood.. service is second to none.. they treat you like family!! Owner is always out and about checking on customers.. great spot

The Cajun shrimp and scallop are amazing.. the service amazing.. they bring a refill when they bring your drinks out. By far our favorite fish camp in Catawba county.

I liked the broiled salmon it tasted so good! I liked the hush puppies and they give generous brown sugar with the sweet potatoes and extra refills for my party. Very good service and excellent staff and food and a nice environment! Great for parties!

Well, it’s just this simple....if you are in the Hickory area or happen to visit, then do yourself a favor and patronize this place. This was our first experience and it definitely won’t be the last. Where do I begin....well, from the very beginning, when we walked in, we were met with a pleasant hostess, who was smiling and eager to assist. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress, who was very knowledgeable and able to provide us with every detail of the menu, as well as, she provided food suggestions. It was hard for us to make a decision because they offer a wide variety of choices. Our food arrived fairly quickly considering that it was Father’s Day and pretty busy. The food was excellent and full of flavor. You could certainly tell that it was cooked and prepared with skill....remarkably good! We are some pretty hard people to please and they certainly exceeded our expectations! The customer service and professionalism by the owners and staff is outstanding! We were greeted by the owner, Mrs. Chanika who came over and introduced herself. She shared stories with us about the establishment and also checked on us throughout our dinner. I was highly impressed. After dinner, we sat outside on the benches in front of the restaurant and discussed what a delightful evening it was. They offer such a comfortable and welcoming environment and we did not want to leave! The Galley made Father’s Day an enjoyable and memorable experience for my husband and his brothers! We are already planning our next visit.

Country style steak was absolutely delicious!! The sides (green bean, yams, dinner roll) were the perfect compliment. And for dessert, Strawberry short cake. A very satisfying meal for Mother's Day. You can not beat Captain's Galley customer service!!! Thank you for making Mother's Day so special for so many!!!

This was great, we were a little scared cause my wife has a shell fish allergy but they made sure all things were separated and there were no incidents. The food thoooooo a WHOLE SITUATION. Everything was golden brown and seasoned to perfect measure. I only wished there was more. It helped that the service was amazing can't remeber the your guys name but he made sure we were taken care of.

Excellent Food Quality and Preparation, Great Wait staff and very Competitive Pricing for the restaurant industry. My server was outstanding, always attentive to our needs, very accommodating, respectful and polite and very cheerful. The fried Salt and Pepper Catfish Fillets are absolutely the best, anywhere around the Tri-county area. They're not greasy at all, crispy breading. The fillets can be held by one end and stay rigid all the way across the length of the fillet without bending or drooping from the sogginess of the grease and improper draining of the grease, as it is regularly served, along with all the other fried seafood dishes, at the Granite Falls location. The best thing on the entire menu will be for your dessert. Don't ask me why I say this! JUST ORDER the Opossum Pie. One Heavenly taste and the answer to your question will be satisfyingly revealed.
